Paul McCartney – Big Boys Bickering Lyrics

This protest song was featured as a bonus track on the international version of his album, Off The Ground. Caused a great deal of controversy too, due to its repetitive use of a certain word... |

The Beatles – Commonwealth Lyrics

Hahaha, the version of this song I have is hilarious. Every time John says his goofy "yeah!" in the background Paul is on the verge of laughter. A fun unreleased demo. |

The Rolling Stones – Rain Fall Down Lyrics
| 17 years ago
|
The riff to this song really reminds me of "Miss You" from Some Girls. In some ways, it's even better.
Hmm... As I see it, the only flaw with A Bigger Bang is that it's just not innovative. We've heard it all before. But my god, it's still a great album. The Stones can't ALWAYS be innovative and fresh, especially now that they're in their sixties. While I can understand the reasons why some people were disappointed with the album, I got exactly what I wanted: 64 minutes of that pure classic Stones sound. At this point, I couldn't ask for more. |

Screw everyone who had everything to do with making AOL's dumb "Top 69 Sexiest Songs of All Time" list.
THIS is the sexiest song of all time. Period. |

Well, my ears are ringing
Is that song "Mother" playing again?
Well, my ears are bleeding
This song "Mother" needs to end!
Yeah, that's what the lyrics should have been. |

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Get Ready for Love Lyrics

|
Oh how I get a kick out of Nick Cave songs like these.
I love how this is a GOSPEL song, and it's oddly blasphemous at the same time.
"Praise him till you've forgotten what you're praising him for."
Hahaha... |

This version of "She Loves You" always cracks me up because it sounds so much like they're singing "She lick dick" whenever they sing the title. XD |

WRITTEN on acid, maybe.
ABOUT acid? NO WAY.
If anyone else claims that it is actually about acid, I'm pretty sure John Lennon will come back from the dead and beat the crap out of you. |

Ween – The Mollusk Lyrics

Yeah, destroyalltacos is correct, and the lyrics posted here are wrong.
I think this song begins the ocean-theme of The Mollusk (the album, that is) very nicely. My all time favorite Ween album, and this is one of my favorite songs.
I actually have heard the vagina thing before. But as far as these lyrics go... I really don't see how that theory fits in any way. To me, the lyrics seem to symbolize some sort of enlightenment, whether it be through drugs or meditation or what have you. |

Ween – Baby Bitch Lyrics

Probably my favorite song off Chocolate & Cheese, along with Voodoo Lady and What Deaner Was Talking About.
By the way, does anybody here actually have any friends who dig Ween as much as you do? I sure don't... none of my friends will give them a chance! It's so sad... ;( |

Ween – Ocean Man Lyrics

Yeah, Gorillagorilla is right. Assuming it's about drugs just because it's Ween (and they ARE pretty far out) isn't always a good theory.
Of course, I'm still of the opinion that Gene and Dean are NOT regular drug users. You don't need drugs to create a trippy song. But I digress.
And the song is terrific. One of my all-time faves. |

David Bowie – Changes Lyrics

Yeah... I know that the lyric is SUPPOSED to be "strain" (I've seen it in the booklet too), but he DEFINITELY says "strange" every single time. Listen closely. |

The Beatles – She's a Woman Lyrics
|
Actually, to my knowledge, John didn't have much to do with this song--it was entirely written and sung by Paul.
Also, it's very interesting to note that this song actually predicts disco more than ten years before its time! And if you don't believe me, just listen to the music. Crazy. |

The Who – Music Must Change Lyrics

Whoa, no one has commented on this??? This is my favorite track from WHO ARE YOU. It sounds so wonderful.
According to the story, Keith Moon couldn't play to match the 6/8 time, which is why the rhythm is kept in the toe-tapping and the occasional claps. Personally, I like the fact that there isn't much percussion. But the song doesn't seem like it would be that difficult for Keith to drum on. Maybe he was just really drunk or something.
Oh, and another thing. Just to set the record straight, Keith Moon did NOT drown in a swimming pool or choke on his own vomit. He accidentally overdosed on sleeping pills. Anyone who says any different should be punched in the face. Thank you. |

Ween – The Goin' Gets Tough from the Getgo Lyrics

This song sounds like something Gene and Dean came up with in 10 minutes, and yet... I can't NOT listen to it! It's so humorous with those silly voices and the way they keep going, "Isn't that right, Deaner?" "Oh, soo right." Quite funny. |

I know that this is an instrumental, but honestly, I would have expected more people to comment on this one by now. It's absolutely beautiful! Hmm... a tribute to some guy named Eddie? That's all I can come up with. |
