| August Burns Red – White Washed Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I don't believe it's aimed at anyone in particular. It reminds of when Jesus confronts the Pharisees in the temple, and calls them "whitewashed tombs". They look good on the outside, but inside they are dry and dusty bones. Following along that it could be about church leaders, pastors etc. They say things like "God hates Gays/Jews/Soldiers etc,". These people look good, but they are actually leading others astray. | |
| Underoath – Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think it's about how God gave us our free will, and how we do things that are stupid, and not what God would want us to do. | |
| 12 Stones – Arms of a Stranger Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I thought it said "you left love dying, it's in the arms of a stranger". | |
| 12 Stones – Adrenaline Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I thought it was about how the world is so hung up on sex, rather than actual love. | |
| 12 Stones – 3 Leaf Loser Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Yeah, that's what I thought. By the way, Cannabis has 5 leaves, so that's not the title of the song. | |
| Pillar – Frontline Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| We wouldn't have pride if God didn't give it to us. Pride can be a good thing, we are supposed to take pride in being a Christian. It's when that pride stops us from helping someone that it becomes bad. | |
| Pillar – Frontline Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| True, but remember, they're all christian. | |
| Pillar – Fire on the Inside Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Wow, this is an amazing song, I can't believe no one's commented on it! "Days were so cold Nights spent alone Searching for something That I've never known Held captive by the pain Caught up in all the shame My heart just won't stop playin' these head games It's like a terminal disease And now I've found the remedy" (He was lost and confused, searching for a meaning in life, he felt like he was sick, and found Jesus) You, you're keeping You're keeping me alive With this fire on the inside You, you're keeping You're keeping me alive With this fire on the inside (His faith and hope, a "fire" from Jesus, is what keeps him up when he feels down) Now I see the sun That battle wages on Gotta watch my back this time So I know where it's all coming from It's like a shadow I can't see And its sneaking up on me (Now that his eyes are opened, he can see what's bad for him, and what to stay away from, and that demons and the devil will try to attack him) |

| Pillar – Holding On Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Both could be right. If a band's Christian, it doesn't mean that every song is about being Christian. | |
| Pillar – Hindsight Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Exactly, and that he will never turn his back on God. | |
| Pillar – Elysian Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Does anyone know what the title means? | |
| Pillar – Better Off Now Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| That's awesome, dude! But I reckon this is more about the author finding Christ, and how free he now feels | |
| Pillar – Angel in Disguise Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Did this song help her? | |
| Blindside – The Endings Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think that he's saying that no matter what happens, it'll be alright in the end if Jesus is your strength | |
| Blindside – Eye Of The Storm Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Yeah, he's "walking through the eye of the storm", because God feels like He's far away, he can't hear God, why he says "please come closer". | |
| Blindside – King Of The Closet Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Christianity is about accepting people for who they are, showing grace, loving everyone no matter what. Sure, I don't agree with the physical aspect of it, but it is love, and who are we to say love is wrong? | |
