eh, i can see how you could've made a connection, but in "maybe" she sings about leaving HIM, because she wants him to fly and wants to really find out if he's truly hers, and she'll know IF he comes back, after their lives go seperate ways. But in this song, she's singing about him leaving her, swiftly, (glide away on soapy heels) and her chaining up the door to her heart, and that why she says "i'll never say, i'll never love" and that if he were to come back, she'd take the chain off the door. |

wowwwwwwwwww, i used to like this song alot before. then i got tired of it. you know, when you listen to a song enough times, lol. its been a few months, and i listened to this song again, and i started tearing up. simply becuase THIS TIMES, i'm in the relationship that the song describes. tried over & over to see it from his POV, but that didn't work out too well. its too late now. and eventhough i thought we were getting somewhere, its not working out. its just soooooo hard to let go :I but i guess its for the best. this song made me realize that. one of her BEST songs! along with "right here," & "bottom of the ocean," i think she's finally growing up.... xD those three songs are SO porwerful & meaningful. wow. great job, miley. |
