side note...john's admitted that he likes to "make up" stories to tell people when they ask what a song is about...he said this is about "a casual relationship and wanting more"??yeahh not so sure about that one sometimes its hard lay the truth about your feelings right out there in the open public because writing comes from the most personal places in someone's soul and unveiling those feelings is hard to be 100% honest about, and so im pretty positive the casual relationship story is just a coverup..but that's not a bad thing, means different things to everyone i mean think about it..how would you feel after attaining all this success after years of suckiness, then going through a divorce from a longterm marriage and then getting away from it all by moving out to a place where youre completely anonymous...all of those emotions = here is gone |

at first i was too lazy to sign in and post a comment..and then i read these comments and was like..okay...i must post.. trust me on this kids...i'm the world's biggest goo goo dolls stalker lol johnny wrote this song for a target christmas c.d. (taht was released on oct. 11th i believe) and the goos decided to release it earlier because it was so appropriate for the time that we live in now (hurricane katrina, the war, tsunami, etc) it just seemed like an uplfiting song for people that needed uplifting yea its a different sound for the goos, trust me i own every goo c.d. ever made...but i dont think it reflects what their new album will sound like... which is going to be released in "early 2006" |
