This song is so amazing. One of my favourites. And it's just awesome live!! Robby rocks!!!
lol yeah live, its great! mi cousins went to the 4th of July concert in Buffalo and after Robby said "you gotta bear your cross, never dream too loud", he screamed "Screw this rain!!!!!", which got lots of screams and laughs in reply... it was raining like nuggets that night! anyways, it was a great concert! i have the CD and vid of it. you should search the song on Grooveshark.com and it will come up with the live version too. love your username! haha i live 4 music too! :)

OMGosh, i guess no one else thinks this is good enough to comment on! i'm not entirely sure, but i heard this song is about a girl that this guy could only get along with around a certain time, and that's why "every heart that beats tonight's pretend"
I love this song to and I think that it is about a guy and a girl who's relationship is on the girls terms. She calls him her January friend to show how she only comes around once in a while when it is good for her. Or something like that....please feel free to add to this....
This song is great, but nobody gives Robbie any credit as a songwriter, but he is an awsome songwriter.
I agree with fuckyouall, but then again i'm one of the odd ones who likes Robby over Johnny. I always used to think it was about a girl who just used a guy for certain things but blew him off except when she wanted something, and that was the only time she was ever decent to him.
I am too, his voice is cooler, his best song is "Tucked Away" off of the new "GutterFlower" album.

yeah i much prefer robby over johnny....robbys just so rad and the i think the instrumentals are better in robbys songs. i agree with coco on the "Showed me what I had to see It's not the way I thought it should be Oh yeah" part, its sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!!
