1st part is pretty clear, because the more we fuss, the worse things come out.
Strange, that nobody noticed that part:

In my mind, what he means - is that he wanted her to be his last love, the one he would stay with until the end of his days. He wanted to be the only and the last love for her also, but she just passed through and went to another guy.
Then he just says how graceful she is and wishes her good luck. It's a very good thing especially from a man.
What I don't understand in this song is
"Just say you'll watch how you go"
Maybe the case is my bad english, can somebody explain me the meaning? How can she say, that she will watch how SHE goes?
