He's sayin she trusted him with everything. But the way she treated him through it all and in the end he knows it's hurting her but killing him.

Basically this is him saying through the effort of giving her the wanting to stay with him she stll wanted to change the world to how she wanted it. she got angry with him enough to kill him for him telling her she was wrong so she started revenging against him but breaking promises tearing down the walls they had built aroun each other. meaning he'd been with her from the start.

the referrance to tasting salvation would be reffering to "saving" basically she thinks he can save him by hurting him. but that's my concept of it. and the funny thing is that I'm not even xian but that song is held close to me because of the fact that something like that happened with me in the fairly recent past.
