Cover art for Beautiful Sharks lyrics by Something For Kate

To me, the song is about seeing things, and about the way in which you want to see them. Everyone has a different perception of something. Whilst some consider a shark to be vulgar or intimidating - they dare to percieve them differently. Also, "to see his memory from different angles" could easily be interpreted as a person reassessing their own memories, and seeing something in a different light.

@mildewmatt I see your post is 10 years old, but it just struck me last week as I was walking home and listening to this song: to me it speaks of replaying painful memories, analysing what you could have done differently, and letting your mind wander down the path of that alternate reality. There's a bit of projection going on there, but that's the beauty of a good song, isn't it?
