Don't you just love this song? I can't believe no one else has commented on this song yet, it would seem like a very controversial song... o well. I love it Man I totally feel this way about people sometimes, and about religion as well. Jon is amazing. VAST deserves more acknowledgment.

I want the Demo's To be remastered SOOOO Bad! I love this song, now just imagine rocking out to it with it being all perfect sounding..It would be sweet!

Basically, he's expressing his conflict between good and evil... He doesn't do EXACTLY what The Bible tells him... In fact, he doesn't care much for the people who do. He's pretty much saying "If I have to be like you to get into Heaven, and if there are more people like you IN heaven, I want nothing to do with it... However, I shouldn't be damned, because I've done nothing 'wrong'."Forgive the waste of space, but a friend of mine told me a story that REALLY made me think of this song... In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Jon Crosby based this song on the main character... The story goes:One Sunday morning, a preacher said to his audience "Those of you who have sinned, please rise!". Everyone in the audience rose to their feet, except one man. The preacher cleared his throat, and repeated himself more loudly. "Those of you who have sinned, PLEASE stand up!". The man remained seated. The preacher glared at the man, and bellowed "Those of you who have sinned, STAND UP NOW!". The man responded "I am not a sinner, I am a man.".I've always liked that story...RIP, Daiv...
