Infinity Lyrics
Got a whole in my head
Everything falls right out
Through my ears, through my eyes
Makes no difference where you are
You wanna know how I do it?
I do it all right
chorus:
I got a hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t nothing can fill it up
I got a hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t no one thing
A new wrong (?)
A new wrong
You never get right back
A new wrong
You wanna know how I do it?
I do it all right
chorus:
I gotta hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t nothing that can fill it up
I gotta hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t no one thing out there
Not me with a gun to my head
I can let it go
Not me with a gun to my head
I can let it go
So I sing
Everything falls right out
Through my ears, through my eyes
Makes no difference where you are
You wanna know how I do it?
I do it all right
I got a hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t nothing can fill it up
I got a hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t no one thing
A new wrong
You never get right back
A new wrong
You wanna know how I do it?
I do it all right
I gotta hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t nothing that can fill it up
I gotta hole and I’ll never go home
There ain’t no one thing out there
I can let it go
Not me with a gun to my head
I can let it go
So I sing

By the way, if you listen really closely at the beginning, someone in the background says "sex"and kind of sighs at the end of it like sexuuahhhhhh and then the guitar kicks in.
:( I thought the line was "I'm kinda hoping that I never go home". I must be deaf, I can hardly figure out the lyrics on my own.
No, no, I heard that too. It is definitely "hoping", at least on the second instance.

This is just my simple interpretation of the song without to much analyzation of the lyrics but the whole vibe of the song to is about someone who could be looking for a way out of whatever predicament he is in and is looking for a new beginning hence "a new road", so maybe he's looking for a way out a drug addiction or maybe had to cut ties with a lover someone close and is searching for a new light.
I think this song might be about suicide. Also I think the last part is "Got me with a gun to my head" and "I can't let it go"
great song
I think he sings "a new run" instead of "a new wrong", but i'm not sure
It's a new road.
And this song fucking rules.
pretty sure this song is about medicating rather than resorting to suicide; seems to be a resounding theme with homme
The lyrics go like this: Got a hole in my head Everything falls right out Through my ears, through my eyes Makes no difference where you are You wanna know how I do it? I do it alright You wanna know how I do it? I do it alright
I got a hole and I'll never go home There ain't nothin' can fill it up I got a hole and I'll never go home There ain't no one thing
A new wrong A new wrong A new road A new road You never get it right back A new road You never get it right back A new road You wanna know how I do it? You wanna know how I do it? You wanna know how I do it? I do it alright
I got a hole and I'll never go home There ain't nothin' can fill it up I got a hole and I'll never go home There ain't no one thing I can
Not me with a gun to my head I can let it go Not me with a gun to my head I can let it go So I sing Ohhhhhhh Ohhhhhhh
Those lyrics are right. I'm a die-hard Queens fan and have heard the song probably 200 times. The feel I get, and I know all of Homme's music so maybe that helps a little, is something traumatic happened and he's running away. And he won't put that gun to his head as long as he can keep away from his home, where it happened. A new wrong meaning a new drug, a new bad decision. A new road meaning literally a new road, or where that bad decision takes him, the road the leads from that wrong he commits. The whole hole thing in the first verse and chorus I think describes that feeling you get as though you have a hole in you. "Got a hole in my head" meaning he just doesn't have his head in the right place, whatever it be from. The thing about everything falling out meaning his head is just disorganized and fucked up.
