"building that has two thousand floors" obviously this is talking about the spiral staircase." I can't forget i'm the sole architect" - speculation that possibly that who ever steps inside the hallway it reacts to a persons emotions.

I think this song has some wicked lyrics and a pretty cool sound...does anybody know if she writes her own songs?

To my perception this is a call to a kindred spirit to show itself and come have fun (a la HELLO). The hole-in-my-head evokes imagery of the third eye and the vision by which creators "architect" their worlds--which are meant to be shared with each other (e.g. music, buildings, cars, food, whatever the artist's medium is). The "building with 2000 floors" I see as being the constructed illusion that we all share (each year as a floor). The message I get is that all of time and space is a playground and artists are supposed to go have fun kicking and sliding through it together. P.S. The video for this--which I happened to catch out of the corner of my eye at the Experience Music Project in Seattle...is something I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching. It consists of swapped shots of Poe and a double of herself fondling/washing/dancing on a classic car and mud wrestling each other (oh yes!), while Mark reads from his book. Now that's what I call a video!!

Love it! I'm gonna have to see that video, i'm a sucker for classic cars.

Is there like a different version of this song? Cuz the one I'm listening doesn't have those lyrics at all..

You know if you take that one line "I can't forget I am a sole architect" and switch the sole to soul...it changes the entire verse. And about the two different songs the one on this page is the one on the album...well mine at least...though mine is white and my friends is pink...maybe there are two different cds?
