Mr. Crowley, what went on in your head
Mr. Crowley, did you talk with the dead
Your lifestyle to me seemed so tragic
With the thrill of it all
You fooled all the people with magic
You waited on Satan's call

Mr. Charming, did you think you were pure
Mr. Alarming, in nocturnal rapport
Uncovering things that were sacred manifest on this earth
Conceived in the eye of a secret
And they scattered the afterbirth

Mr. Crowley, won't you ride my white horse
Mr. Crowley, it's symbolic of course
Approaching a time that is classic
I hear maidens call
Approaching a time that is drastic
Standing with their backs to the wall

Was it polemically sent
I want to know what you meant
I want to know
I want to know what you meant

This is a very good song but the lyric shows a lot of ignorance about Aleister Crowley. The people who actually know something about Crowley is a lot fewer than the people who talk about him. About if Crowley founded Thelema or not. The ideas “Thelema” and “The Abbey of Thelema” were used by an author earlier but Crowley was the one who founded Thelema as we know it today. The “Thelemic Cult” you are talking about AleisterCrowleyFan, must be Ordo Templi Orientis which Crowley joined in the early 1900’s and then later became the leader of. They weren’t telemites until Crowley “re-designed” the rituals and teachings of the order. Many people seem to believe that Crowley was a black magician or evil. There is no ground for this if you don’t count what the Christians think (but they say that everything is evil so who cares). Please excuse my spelling and grammar, my English isn’t very good.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
