She's made of hair and bone, little teeth
things I cannot speak
She comes on like a crippled plaything
Spine is just a string
I wrapped our love in all this foil
Silver tight like spider legs
I never wanted it to ever spoil
But flies will lay their eggs

Take your hatred out on me
Make your victim my head
You never ever believed in me
I am your tourniquet

Prosthetic synthesis with butterfly
Sealed up with virgin stitch
If it hurts, baby, please tell me
Preserve the innocence
I never wanted it to end like this
But flies will lay their eggs

Take your hatred out on me
Make your victim my head
You never ever believed in me
I am your tourniquet

What I wanted, what I needed
What I got for me
What I wanted, what I needed
What I got for me

Take your hatred out on me
Make your victim my head
You never ever believed in me
I am your tourniquet
Take your, take your, get up out of me
I'm not proud of me
I never, ever believed in me
I am your tourniquet

this song means somthing different to me than just love, probably because the way i was raised. when he starts the song saying shes made of hair and bone and little teeth and things i cannot speak, to me hes relating she to life she= ones life, like people do with boats and stuff lol, and she is a human body. and when he says and things i cannot speak, theres certain things about our lives we just dont talk about. "she comes on like a crippled play thing, spine is just a string" i take this as lifes embrace comes on like a strange friend that you will know for your forever and by saying spine is just a string i think he means life is delicate.. it hardly has any backbone and can change instantly. when he continues to say " i wrapped our love in all this foil".. could be a crystal meth reference there, in addition to the fact that hes saying he tried to keep his destiny and life safe and normal, but can that really be acheived when theres certain people in our lives that lay eggs and fucking infect us in a negative way " i never wanted it to ever spoil, but flies will lay there eggs" says to me that he didnt plan to become what everyone considers a freak the flys are the ones who layed these eggs inside me and sorry if they took course and grew. in the next line when he says "take your hatred out on me, make your victim my head, you never ever beleived in me, i am your tourniquet" this reminds me of when i was a kid and i had an abusive parent that used to do just this, take their anger out on me and literally make their victim my head in the most physical way possible. hes saying go ahead and take your anger out on me, make your victim my head, you dont beleive in me as anything more than a inconveiniance so looks like im unimportant enough to be your tourniquet( or in other words go ahead and beat me to shit because your too ignorant to target your actual problems). also when he eludes to the part where he says "prosthetic synthesis with butterfly, sealed up with virgin stitch, if it hurts, just tell me because your the innosence" this reminds me of someone talking you through the pain and stitching up your wounds at a young age when all these things happen due to "flys" that prey on the weak for they themselves are weak. and when he says if it hurts just tell me because your the innosence.. kids are innocent. its almost as if hes taking on the role of a counselor right there and representing someone who helped him. "i never wanted it to end this way" ( i didnt plan for my personality to change and my life to go down a completely different road) but again flys will always in the end have to lay their eggs somewhere. also these lyrics do not include when he says " what i wanted, what i needed, i got from me." this of course means look what your end result is you FUUUCK you only made me stronger ;)( in other words look where all mansons pent up passion went, into his music and it made him and icon. essentially the same thing happened with me, all those days hinding in my room or sitting on the curb in a random spot a block away from my house taught me to draw and now im going to college for the proffession. that fuck basically knocked the art out of me. what i wanted from this life is to become and artists and what i need right now in this life is to make money to survive and get away. what i wanted what i needed i got from me. nobody helped me.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song "Fortnight" by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word "fortnight" shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
