I'm an outkast
But don't count me out
Underground dwellaz, roaming beneath the cellars
Failed us with this system, ain't living how they tell us
Hideaway place, it's safe, they raise a nation of hate, erase a man for his faith
They feed us lies, dress up my King in false disguise
Behind those eyes, soul of a savior I recognize
No compromise, while the whole world becomes corrupt
Tonight we break the surface for lives, we coming up
Brother take my hand
Let's separate ourselves
Leave behind this place
Don't ever look back
Disgraced man, survivors of the wasteland, looking for a home of his own
No place to run, no place to hide
It's time for you to stand on your own
Militia, coalition, not of this world
Resistance, we the alliance
We freedom fighters, its honor we defend
We follow truth and never your trends
Brother take my hand
Let's separate ourselves
Leave behind this place
Don't ever look back
I'm an outkast
But don't count me out
Brace yourself like a man
But don't count me out
Underground dwellaz, roaming beneath the cellars
Failed us with this system, ain't living how they tell us
Hideaway place, it's safe, they raise a nation of hate, erase a man for his faith
They feed us lies, dress up my King in false disguise
Behind those eyes, soul of a savior I recognize
No compromise, while the whole world becomes corrupt
Tonight we break the surface for lives, we coming up
Let's separate ourselves
Leave behind this place
Don't ever look back
No place to run, no place to hide
It's time for you to stand on your own
Militia, coalition, not of this world
Resistance, we the alliance
We freedom fighters, its honor we defend
We follow truth and never your trends
Let's separate ourselves
Leave behind this place
Don't ever look back
But don't count me out

shit
To me this is one of the best songs on the FEOS cd.To me this song is about how we as Christians are outkasts of the world and that they look us down because we are different."Brother take my hand let's seperate ourselves leave behind this place don't ever look back" I feel this verse in the song is about how Christians need to take one anothers hand and seperate them selves from the world and never look back at the world ways.
power in brother/sisterhood...that's all this is saying to me...with God, you can do anything, and you don't need the things of this world... i love it
My favorite. True practicing Christians are outkasts in every way on earth, to the world, to many church members, to many family members...
Somehow, this song impresses upon me that the Christian life, with its rewards, peace, security, love, fellowship, relationship with a loving God, victory, and even hardships is worth being shuned by the people around us. It is the most exciting life imaginable. Adventure and challenges. Battles and victories (more than a few defeats too in my case). It is great.
i think this song is about that verse that says to be in the world, not of it. so as Christians were outcasts of the world but were still in it. we should band together and work together
To me this song is about persecution of the church or christians in the end days in the tribulation, "Hideaway place, it's safe, they raise a nation of hate, erase a man for his faith, They feed us lies, dress up my King in false disguise Behind those eyes, soul of a savior I recognize" to me thats about how christians will be persecuted severely even killed because of their faith hence "erase a man for his faith". P.O.D comes strong and they speak truth, love it.
