In regards to the meaning of this song:
Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.”
That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.
Waking up at twelve in my clothes again
Feel my head explode from a night of gin
Another night out late
I don't wanna drink
Don't wanna be a clown
Gotta get my feet back on the ground
Before it pulls me in
How come it ended up like this?
And who's gonna catch me
When I'm coming down to hit the ground again?
All by myself (waking up at twelve in my clothes again)
'Cause I don't wanna drag you down
Hold you down
'Cause you're a friend
I blame myself (feel my head explode from a night of gin)
I guess you think it's funny now
Funny now
On the underground
With the freaks and frowns
Looking at the world
Through silver clouds
But then it all came down
I've gotta rise above
The emotional flood
Gotta cut these ropes around my hands
Pull myself around
How come it ended up like this?
And who's gonna be there
When I've lost control and I'm heading to crash-land?
All by myself (waking up at twelve in my clothes again)
'Cause I don't wanna drag you down
Hold you down
'Cause you're a friend
I blame myself (feel my head explode from a night of gin)
I guess you think it's funny now
Funny now
All by myself
'Cause I don't wanna drag you down
Hold you down
'Cause you're a friend
I blame myself
I guess you think it's funny now
Funny now
It's such a shame
All by myself (waking up at twelve in my clothes again)
'Cause I don't wanna drag you down
Hold you down
'Cause you're a friend
I blame myself (feel my head explode from a night of gin)
I guess you think it's funny now
Funny now
It's such a sin
All by myself (waking up at twelve in my clothes again)
'Cause I don't wanna drag you down
Hold you down
'Cause you're a friend
I blame myself (feel my head explode from a night of gin)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve.
The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future.
Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere"
The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
It's not a sad song, it's an angry song-there's a difference. He wrote it on an acoustic after a bad break up. It's so sarastic it's unbelievable, it's basically him sticking two fingers up at his ex and refusing to get down. It's empowering, that's why people dance to it and it makes them happy.
The song is, I think, about excess. It's about the cycle you fall into where you overdo the drink-drugs etc. and feel bad and wreck friendships and so on, but then you do it over and over again because it becomes a habit and then an addiction and then a way of life.
And all the time a part of you knows you have to stop, but you can't. And the people who stay your friends during this descent are your real friends, and you cling to them.
I LOVE THIS!! its really bad bout jon lee, i saw them live in november and they were awesome. this song reminds me of myself....

Feeder are gr8 and this song has to be one of there best.
I've known Feeder for a while, but I was never really into any of their music. Then, a few weeks ago, I went and saw a movie, Ultimate X, and I heard this song. I was addicted. This song just makes me happy for some reason...lol. Great song, great band. WooHOOOOO FEEDER!!
i saw feeder at leeds festival 2002 and they were awsome they were by far the best band of the weekend.
happy song, great for parties when me and friends do wake up at 12 still in clothes after a heavy night of drinking (sometimes gin) feeder would feature on the soundtrack of my life quite a lot. such a great shame about the death of jon lee, i was lucky enough to meet him. missed more than melody.
