I really get annoyed with how many people make every song on this site have some religious connectation. It's a love song about whichever two people you want it to be about.
If I really wanted, I could a put argument together about how this is a song about drugs sung by the drug itself.
Anyways, good tune, catchy, easy to like. I think the love meaning is fairly clear, but I listen to this and every so often I think it may be a guy telling a girl that she'll never get him off her mind, no matter what she does.
He encourages her to go out and try, but is confident that he'll always be with her inside.

great song about loving someone unconditionally. "No matter what" says it all. it's also a song of reassurance; no matter how many mistakes she makes or what she does he'll always love her and be around for her

I've read the words and, if you leave out half of them, you have a love song with very catchy music. I love the song.
If you look at all of the words, however, they make no sense! For instance, " If you would give me all as I would give it to you, nothing would be". I dare anyone to tell me what that means.
How about this, " Knock down the old gray wall, be a part of it all. Nothing to say, nothing to see, nothing to do". If you were going to be a part of it all, wouldn't there at least be something to see or something to do?
See what I mean? Complete nonsense. I'm not knocking the band. They are one of my favorites but, let's not make excuses for people just because we like them. Let's be honest instead.
some of the lyrics on this song don't make any sense.. but i love it. This was my ex and I's song.. it makes me so mad because i listen to this song now, and it reminds me of what a jackass he is. "No matter what you are, I will always be with you" yea.. my ex would say that line, what a bunch of BULL. but anyway. this is a really good song, catchy tune.;)
