Every day I love him a little bit more
A little bit more, a little bit more
Every day I love him just a little bit more
And he loves me the same

Every day I love her a little bit more
A little bit more, a little bit more
Every day I love her just a little bit more
And she loves me the same

Baby if ya wanna get on, baby if ya wanna get off
It makes no sense at all, I saw red, I saw red, I saw red
One more secret lover that I shot dead

Every day I wake up, just a little bit more
Feelin' like a dog in the yard because it's just how we are

And every day I wonder if it's over
When I wake up I realize no it isn't, and break down the wall

You say it's black but I just can't believe you

And if I say it's white say I'm just trying to deceive you

And baby, I'm aware of the high and the low
And I'll be waiting for you in the middle, but I just lack control

Baby if ya wanna get low, baby if ya wanna get high
It makes no sense at all, I saw red, I saw red
One more secret lover that I shot dead

Girls don't go crazy, girls don't go crazy, oh girls don't crazy when the men use you

Women hold your men tight, if it makes you feel all right
It's your own life

Ok this song is just about a bad relationship,

And not about black and white babies...jesus put down the crack pipe. That's just an argument, And he is saying with the line that they are just arguing for arguings sake. I'll say white so you say black....Kinda like I say up so you say Down. Seeing Red is anger. When Someone says I saw Red it means that they are really angry.

Every day I wake up, just a little bit more feelin' like a dog in the yard Because thats just how we are And every day I wonder if it's over When I wake up I realizin that WE HATE And I break down the wall...

And in the end "It's your own life." (so do what you are gonna do) Rufff

Am I the only one who thinks this song isn't just about a relationship? Seeing red could easily be a reference to shooting heroin (when you find a vein, you check to "see red" at the base of the needle so that you know). It also includes lines like:

"And baby, I'm aware of the high and the low And I'll be waithing in the middle But I just lack control"

Which could easily be a reference to the effects of the drug. I'm not sure if I want to say the song is about a relationship between users, or if the relationship is a metaphor for drugs... but either way, it seems to me that drug usage/addiction probably plays a part in the meaning.

I think NTFG is write about shotting up with drawing blood in the syringe when shooting up and that the highs and the lows are the swings that he goes through when shooting up because of his relationship issues

i think this song is about heroin addiction. i made an account just to comment this, lol.

Every day I love her a little bit more A little bit more, a little bit more And she loves me the same ------he's using a girl to describe heroin. he gets more and more addicted, but of course, heroin remains the same.

Baby if ya wanna get low Baby if ya wanna get high It makes no sense at all ------when you get high on heroin, people call it getting low.

I saw red I saw red I saw red One more secret lover that I shot dead -------i read something on here that said shooting up h and seeing red means you fucked it up, and thats what bradley's singing about. i've heard of some heroin turning brownish/red like blood when it's cooked down.

Every day I wake up, just a little bit more feelin' like a dog in the yard Because it's just how we are And every day I wonder if it's over When I wake up I realize that it not And I break down the wall --------a day not doing heroin "wake up just a little bit more" can make you sick "feeling like a dog in the yard cause thats just how we are"

You say it's black but I can't believe you And if I say it's white say I'm just trying to decieve you And baby, I'm aware of the high and the low And I'll be waiting in the middle But I just lack control ---------heroin can be white (china) black (tar)... he's aware of the highs it'll give him either way, bc he's a heroin addict and just 'lacks control'

Baby if ya wanna get low Baby if ya wanna get high It makes no sense at all I saw red I saw red I saw red One more secret lover that I shot dead

Girls don't go crazy Girls don't go crazy Oh girls don't crazy when the men use you oh Women hold your men tight -------"girls" dont go crazy when the men use "you" = heroin. hold your men tight....

If it makes you feel alright It's your own life -------- self explainatory

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
