this song is kind of complicated. in my opinion, i think it might mean being tired or stressed of something, and wanting something more simple. and also being thankful for the people around them.

"well set you" should be "well thats the truth" i think? beautiful song :)
It could be about Darren Shan when he gets used to sleeping during the day after her becomes part vampire then goes through his purges when he sees why vampires avoid sunlight. Since this song was used in the movie "The Vampire's Assistant", this is a possibility, especially if it is used in any future vampire movie.
