Sunday morning and I'm waking up
Can't even focus on a coffee cup
Don't even know who's bed I'm in
Where do I start
Where do I begin [Repeat: x2]

Where do I start
Where do I begin [Repeat: x4]

Sunday morning I'm waking up
Can't even focus on a coffee cup
Don't even know who's bed I'm in
Where do I start
Where do I begin

Where do I start
Where do I begin [Repeat: x12]

    My Opinion

my thought is like...it's not about you just had sex and you dont know where you are in whose bed...it's trying to say ...sometimes you never know yourself so well ..Sunday morning is usually you are free from your job,so you are no longer slave but you dont use to be a free man and when you get free you get confused...you never know yourself...true yourself...you are so stranger to yourself...

The morning after the night before, waking up in a strangers bed and trying to gather together your thoughts and your head before you attempt to make an exit.

At times like those is when you really need this song.

    Beautiful truly beautiful.

I was having an affair with this married man. A Jewish psychologist. My psychologist. He was really smart and had lots of X he said would cure my depression. I went for Christmas vacation with my ex husband and my therapist/lover called me on my cell very early one morning and told me he had just seen Vanilla Sky and realized that he was, in fact, in love with me. I was so happy and excited. Later, he was kicked out of the profession for having sex with half of his patients. One girl killed herself over him. For some reason that song always reminds me of the morning he called.

this is without a doubt one of my top five favourite songs of all time. when the crash's kick in and the song reaches its peak, im always so overcome with joy that i cant help smiling and grooving along with it... but then ending still gives me the shits.
obviously about the morning after a huge bender, not knowing where you are or even being able to pick up a coffee cup your so wasted. i love the how it can turn something so seedy into such an amazing song

Been there many a time in the past, thank God it hasn't happened in a long long time though. Still love the "Can't even focus on a coffee cup." Besides why sleep at the girls house when you can just leave after the festivities.

Only version of this song that I know is from the Vanilla Sky soundtrack which features Beth Orton on vocals. Does she sing on all versions of this song?

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
