Till We Earned A Holiday Lyrics
This song is right up there with Jimmy Eat World's "Claire," Ben Folds Five's "Evaporated," and Counting Crows' "Anna Begins"... Unreal
well uh some of these lyrics i have no idea what they mean but i think the song is basically about 2 people that have been a couple for a long time but there's nothing new in their relationship and as much as they care about each other, the passion just isn't there anymore. it hurts them to break up but they know that's what they have to do...but hey i'm probably wrong! ;)
the anniversary is so great just because the lyrics are so ridiculously hard to understand... i think the songs about vampires >=P
in my opinion this song is about vampires but with a twist. the singer fell in love and became into this wicked trance that it was as if she was a vampire. then the person moved on and the anniversary was stuck still as a vampire and still obsessed. do you know what i mean? im confusing.
thissong is so freakin awesome...i think its about lovers who are losing the love...and its just the same ol' same ol...then u know what it could be about vampires but i doubt it....pusing three words...i loveyou...u know its been pushed before... i never wanted to play the fool for you
Haha, all this talk of vampires makes me think of Vampire Hunter D : Bloodlust. Now their's was a vampire-human love for the ages.
It has such a sad sound..
Ok maybe I "smoke" to much-but to me this album is a whole story about a girl and a guy......who are so right.....yet so wrong for each other....they are each others "poison"......This to me is when they realize that after all the "trying" its time to start.....and when I say start...I mean the process of "getting over each other"...
the words yelled in the background right after:
'you're standing off the white church, and you're pitching me three words. it yells a name falling off of, off my list of names.'
are not "crashing, crashing", it's:
"match in the gas tank, boom boom!"
it's a quote from "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."
