And congress filibustering
Procrastinating, delegating,
Multitudes are suffocating

A rerun in the next school,
Dismantle it for minuscule

They watch as their profits soar

Some crying over Columbine
Yes your capital,
It swarms with cannibals.
When some other people's kids are shot
They chalk it up as an afterthought
They load their guns and reminisce,
And tell us it's just business.
They hope we overlook
The halls at Sandy Hook
And the Son of God,
You call Him Prince of Peace -
You want His worshipers
To make your sales increase

All clothed in all righteousness -
You want His followers,
But not the pacifists.
You want your ledgers black
