When a kid goes and picks dandilion for his mother its because he loves he and thats all he can give.
A dandilion is a weed but a mother puts them in a vase a delights in them because her son gave them to her out of love.
This is a metaphor for God loving our gifts to him no matter how bad they are. That we dont have anything to give better than a dandilion but God will still proudly hold them in a vase.

Reese Roper is such a genious when it comes to writing songs. When i met him once at a festival he acted like a goofball, it was great. He also does some crazy stuff on stage. But when it comes to writing songs, he ain't no joke. Rock
