To add to the detail, the promises will either be kept, but most likely be broken by the majority if the masses, and so it will provide this firefly the light they need to shine…with the majority failing to live up to their promises. You see, fireflies need pitch black to activate their luminescence. Without the sunlight completely gone, they cant ignite. So the broke promises are likely to provide the firefly with the clearest setting fly brilliantly. In other words, we will fail…over and over and over and over…
