When darkness falls, may it be
That we should see the light
When reaper calls, may it be
That we walk straight and right

When doubt returns, may it be
That faith shall permeate our scars
When we're seduced, then may it be
That we not deviate our cause

All sinners, a future
All saints, a past
Beginning, the ending
Return to ash

Now that we're dead, my dear
We can be together
Now that we're dead, my dear
We can live forever

When all is pain, may it be
It's all we've ever known
When flame consumes, may it be
It warms our dying bones

When loss has won, may it be
It's you I'm madly fighting for
When kingdom comes, may it be
We walk right through that open door

All sinners, a future
All saints, a past
Beginning, the ending
Return to ash

Now that we're dead, my dear
We can be together
Now that we're dead, my dear
We can live forever

All sinners, a future
All saints, a past
Beginning, the ending
Return to ash

Now that we're dead, my dear
We can be together
Now that we're dead, my dear
We can live, we can live forever
Return to ashes, shed this skin
Beyond the black, we rise again
We shall live forever

    My Interpretation

I absolutely love this song and feel very strongly it is about eternal love and life ,, as my Christian minister once counseled me after a loss of a very dear loved one ..... my minister said to me .... this is not the end for your loved but a beautiful new beginning you will one day have yourself and be reunited to be together forever .... the poetry is amazing and James Hetfield is a Christian and so embraces the eternity of an afterlife .... Alot of their music is actually spiritual but just very deep and real .... the lyrics say May we walk straight and right ... that is to the light ,,, When flame consumes.... may it warm our dying bones .... this is not suicide music ... Christians whole heartedly believe you do not go to heaven if you take your own life ...... the song is about making sure you and the person you love most do right .or as the lyrics say .. it is you I am madly fighting for .. . so you can live together forever ... My absolute favorite song ever

This song is about the crave for death. Shall i say its a Suicide Endorsment song. Don't belive me? Or is my bad english that bothers you? Well...

When darkness falls, may it be That we should see the light.- Its simple when you died you became happy When reaper calls, may it be That we walk straight and right.- When the time to die is came you will not run away.

When doubt returns, may it be That faith shall permeate our scars.- When you have doubt grab unto the faith (metalicca is ateist btw) and those scars are selfharm wich is common within suicidal personalities. When we’re seduced, then may it be That we not deviate our cause.- And the cause is Death.

All sinners, a future All saints, a past Beginning, the ending Return to ash.- Everything will die in the end.

Now that we're dead, my dear We can be together.- Thats plane and simple a lie. Now that we're dead, my dear We can live, we can live forever.- Thats plane and simple a lie. Both of wich connected to the theme of death is happiness.

When all is pain, may it be It’s all we’ve ever known.- This is a tipical mentality of a suicid person. When flame consumes, may it be It warms our dying bones.- again dying is goood

When loss has won, may it be It’s you I’m madly fighting for.- i like that one, when loss (of life) has won, thats what you fighting for. To be honest this song makes me sick and in the i will explane why. When kingdom comes, may it be We walk right through that open door.- Yep right into heaven, said by an atheist how despise faith becouse he blame religion over his mother death.

All sinners, a future All saints, a past Beginning, the ending Return to ash

Now that we're dead, my dear We can be together Now that we're dead, my dear We can live, we can live forever

All sinners, a future All saints, a past Beginning, the ending Return to ash

Now that we're dead, my dear We can be together Now that we're dead, my dear We can live, we can live forever Return to ashes, shed this skin Beyond the black, we rise again We shall live forever- So lets die so we can live forever, after we died. Dont you get it? Well than maybe you dont heard form this little pos: youtu.be/05eIEJoxAh8

He is 21 year old guy who was gone into psychology university but only one year than he decide to make a VK page where they speakd young teenegers into suicede. And that is very common in Ukraine and other post soviet countries, becouse the videos of there suicede or there suffering can be transfomed into cash in the Deepweb or Darkweb. This song is something that very much remind me of him, becouse he use the same kinda reasoning when suggested the act (you are fat but in an other life you are beutifull. So die and you gonna be beutifull). The song itself is an endorsment i have no doubt about it. I just dont understand would some rich oldfart would endorse of selfkilling. But who am i to judge, right?

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
