Can't Feel My Face Lyrics

And I know she'll be the death of me
At least we'll both be numb
And she'll always get the best of me
The worst is yet to come
But at least we'll both be beautiful and stay forever young
This I know, this I know

She told me don't worry about it
She told me don't worry no more
We both know we can't go without it
She told me you'll never be in love, ooh

I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh
I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh

And I know she'll be the death of me
At least we'll both be numb
And she'll always get the best of me
The worst is yet to come
All the misery was necessary when we're deep in love
This I know, girl I know

She told me don't worry about it
She told me don't worry no more
We both know we can't go without it
She told me you'll never be in love, ooh

I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh
I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh [x2]

She told me don't worry about it
She told me don't worry no more
We both know we can't go without
She told me you'll never be in love, ooh

I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh
I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh [x2]

This song is about the face-melting effects of cocaine and its ability to bind itself to your personality in the same way a woman could.

'She' is the drug itself, 'get the best of me' is most likely relapse of addiction or an overdose in general.

As soon as I heard this song I felt what it was about. COCAINE!! Most definitely. It describes the use, effects and general relationship with the drug most perfectly. Love it.

Retards its actually about Peanut Butter. The weeknd is is allergic to Peanut Butter but he still eats it Because he loves it so much. Hence "I Can't Feel My Face When Im With You / But I love it" He cant feel his face because he is having an allergic reaction to it. This is the actual meaning of the song. Read the other lyrics it makes sense.

P.S The singer even admitted this.

i think this is about a suicide pact with the girl he loves But at least we'll both be beautiful and stay forever young gives me the impression hes trying to look into thegood side of things although the line she'll always get the best of me, the worst is yet to come makes me think hes unsure to go through but he loves her i also think shes minipulating him into joining her as the quote shows: She told me you'll never be in love as well as minipulating shes trying to persuade him and tell him its okay She told me, don't worry about it She told me, don't worry no more he now believes it is the right thing to do We both know we can't go without it overall he just loves her and loves the way he feels around her can't feel my face when I'm with you But I love it, but I love it, oh

first comment so i hope you all agree (._.)

I thought the line "she told me you'll never be in love" was actually "you'll never be alone"

It's about dating death

My Opinion

@Awakenedblood and who or what is "death"??

Or you mean Death (as a figure)?

Definitely about cocaine and the relationship with the drug as his 'mistress'. The control that Addiction has over your mind and body. The lack of will to struggle through and the willingness to give in. "We both know we can't go without it".

I guess he just likes coke... "But I love it".

For sure about cocaine effects and addiction. The girl is the "white girl." He's talking about the good and bad of it. Reminds of Sublime "Pool Shark"

Honesty when I first heard this I thought it was just about him being madly in love with some girl, but this would be way to easy. So I listened and read the lyrics and got to the conclusion it must be about cocaine as it lists pretty much all the effects of taking cocaine simply 'i can't feel my face' that's what happens when you are high. Also 'she told me don't worry about it she told me don't worry no more' clearly shows that when you are taking drugs all your worries and cares go away so he doesn't need to worry about anything anymore. Lastly the fact that 'we both know we can't go without it' shows that he loves the feeling and cannot go without this drug.
