Louder Than Words

The whole album is a tribute to Richard Wright. His playing was at the heart of the Pink Floyd sound as Nick Mason said. I believe this song is about being Pink Floyd. This is exactly that thing they do and this feeling cannot be expressed by words. It's louder than words. This song i believe its the best way to end this beautiful journey of Pink Floyd. Richard Wright rest in peace...

Although humans are not without faults, we comprise the most beautiful thing ever created, the endless river that we call life.

It's not only this song but the entire album is a metaphor! The Endless River is related to somewhat of Paradise. Louder Than Words was the struggles of Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett and fights.

i was listening to this for the first time following along. the lyrics are a bit different. before that, this is pink floyd's coda for sure. a mostly worldless one big song about life, death, living, and soul. the last few minutes have these lyrics that incorporate staying home by the fire, filled by desire, stoking the flame; and more:
