Take to relieve it
All your wishes come true
Take to believe it
All your wishes come true
I'm still a head full of hate
I'm still a head full of pride
Is it all that you need
When it's all that you got
Is it all that you need?
'Cause it's all that I want
When it's all that you need
'Cause it's all that you got
And it's all that you want
Then it's all that I'm not

Close your eyes and listen to the intro. It sounds like riding a subway.

    My Interpretation

The beginning of the song sounds like an individual waiting for a train in rainy weather. The individual boards the train, and the train picks up speed as the guitar plays. when the drums enters the train is at full speed and This is where she gets lost in her mind while she is looking at the landscape in this cloudy rainy day.

Her mind wonders to the person who drugged her with love and lust - that hurt her as he fooled her and made her believe that all her wishes come true. She is too proud to feel and admit the severity of the pain she is feeling.

After everything she is still drugged with his poison even though it's only the thoughts and feelings of him that surrounds her. His presence is surfacing .

She feels that she is in a similar situation that she was with him. She gave him what he needed - the thing that she valued most of herself. He needed her to sacrifice her value to prove that she loved him.

    "Still as rain Fallin down"

    • She gains a glips of reality back

    "Still as rain Fallin down"

    • He starts pulling her back

Drug you Love you  Drug you Love you Drug you Love you  Drug you Love you

    Still as rain Fallin down

    • She fought her way back to the surface

    Still as rain Fallin down"

    • She is breathing - head above the storm. But then gets caught off and starts drowning

    The last chorus part:

Drug you love you drug you love you drug  You love you drug you love you drug you  Love you drug you love you drug you love  You drug you love you drug you love you  Drug you love you drug you love you drug  You love you drug you love you drug you  Love you drug you love you drug you love  You drug you love you drug you love you  Drug you love you drug you love you drug  You love you drug you love you drug you  Love you drug you love you drug you love  You drug you love you drug you love you  Drug you love you drug you love you drug  You love you drug you love you drug you  Love you drug you love you drug you love  You drug you love you drug you love you drug

    - He is drowning her with his drug
    - She is suddenly overwhelmed with uncontrollable flashes of memories of their most passionate and happy moments.
    - She fights it but She feels her lungs full up with water, she feels lost helpless and busy dying.

At the sudden end of the song:

    • She is resuscitated and awakens from her trance and all the pain is still there but she is no longer drowning in his drug.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
