R-U-G-R-A-T-S

Take me there, I wanna go there
Take me there, let's go there
Take me to that great place with wonders and wishes
Take me there, I wanna go there
Take me there, you know where
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes

Sittin' here thinkin' 'bout yesterday
About what we did and how we used to play
Just the thought of you brings a smile upon my face
That's how it makes me feel to see you everyday
Whoa, yeah-yeah
Where we go, nobody knows
And what we do, is between me and you
So c'mon and take my hand, to that special place
Where smiles come to life, and dreams come true, ooh

Take me there, I wanna go there (I wanna go there)
Take me there, let's go there
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes
Take me there, I wanna go there
Take me there, you know where
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes

Let's make a wish
Close your eyes and count to five
'Cause you know that everything will be alright
See the magic in your eyes
You're strong enough, you know
To bring your dreams to life, oh
Oh, where we go, nobody knows
And what we do, is between me and you (you-you, you-you)
So c'mon and take my hand, to that special place
Don't want this dream to ever go away, oh yeah

Take me there, I wanna go there
Take me there, let's go there (all the way)
Take me to that great place with wonders and wishes (I wanna go, I gotta go, take me there)
Take me there, I wanna go there
Take me there, you know where
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes

Now Angelica's the one with all the exposure
Dil is the one they drop in the stroller
Tommy got the whole world on his shoulders
And Dil cries to sleep
'Til his eyes get bleak
And I couldn't of brang Chuckie, Chuckie to petro
Chuckie get scared, Chuckie says, "Let's go"
If I was a Rugrat, it would've been so real
Me and my twin would've been just like Phil and Lil

And with one wish, Blink grant you one trip
When we go in this adventure, who you wanna come with?
See, you're my little brother that I'll come get
Run with, but it's gotta be done quick
So, Chuckie is scared and Tommy is sad
And Phil and Lil misses their mommy and dad
So pick a time and date
And find a place
And I guarantee that we will all get home safe (just take me there)

Take me there, I wanna go there (me there)
Take me there, let's go there (to that special place)
Take me to that great place with wonders and wishes (I wanna go, I gotta go, let's go)
Take me there, I wanna go there (let's go, I wanna go there)
Take me there, you know where (I wanna go there, can we go there?)
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes (can we go there?)
(Can you take, take, take, take, take me?)

Take me there, I wanna go there (I wanna go, I need to go)
(I wanna go there)
Take me there, let's go there (I wanna go, I wanna go now)
Take me to that great place with wonders and wishes (let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go)
Take me there, I wanna go there (oh-oh, yeah)
Take me there, you know where (oh-oh, yeah, take me there)
Just take me to that great place with wonders and wishes (take me there)
(You can take me there) (let's go)

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
