I'm looking for something in red
Something that's shocking to turn someone's head
Strapless and sequined and cut down to there
Stockings and garters and lace underwear
The guaranteed number to knock the men dead
I'm looking for something in red

I'm looking for something I green
Something to out do an ex-high school queen
Jealousy comes in the color of jade
Do you have some pumps and a purse in this shade
And a perfume that whispers "Please comes back to me"
I'm looking for something in green

I'm looking for something in white
Something that shimmers in soft candlelight
Everyone calls us the most perfect pair
Should I wear a veil or a rose in my hair
Well, the train must be long and the waist must be tight
I'm looking for something in white

I'm looking for something in blue
Something real tiny, the baby's brand new
He has his father's nose and his chin
We once were hot lovers now we're more like friends
Don't tell me that's just what old married folk do
I'm looking for something in blue

I'm looking for something in red
Like the one that I wore when I first turned his head
Strapless and sequined and cut down to there
Just a size larger that I wore last year
The guaranteed number to knock the nam dead

I'm looking for something
I've gotta have something
I'm looking for something in red

It is about Loving someone from High School or College and the Red (Color of Passion) Dress was the Seduction to seek her Beau, the Green (Color of Jealousy) Dress to keep her Beau's attention, then looking for something in White (Purity) Wedding Dress for Marriage then comes along needing a Blue (Male Boy Son) Dress to give Birth........but as time goes by like all relationships work, familiarity, and family takes over from the passion, jealousy, purity, and of now taking care of her son and her Beau has become her Best Friend more than remaining a Lover that the Red Dress signifies as the Passion they once adored and is no more? Now she is trying to fid and climb back to high passionate feeling again and is Looking for Something in Red again in hopes of reigniting it or finding it with another in Bed.

Some Lorrie Morgan is actually saying later in the song and at the End of the Song Last Words saying I Am Looking For Something In BED! Now that her Beau to Husband to Best Friend can no longer provide it nor her for him. One has to listen real hard to hear it is BED near the End, no longer RED!

My view anyway others can comment as they wish!

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
