I absolutely adore this song!!!! It's probably my favourite on the album (but I do love all of them):) I think that it's about someone who's very fragile (for any reason - insecurity, illness, previously been hurt in a relationship) and then they meet someone who is just perfect - 'too good to be true'. So the song is like a warning to this perfect person, saying "I'm fragile, and I need you to be there for me when I need you. I need you to understand that you 'make me weak' and I'm giving my heart to you, so please, please look after it"

the first time i heard this song- and i rarely do this on a first time hearing a song- i clicked REPLAY.
demi is a christian. or at least, believe that god exists. in her album, she even thanked him for his help. i think this is about god, and how he's helped her while she was fragile last year. being a christian myself, the lyrics totally reflected god to me.

"make a promise please, you'll be in reach, just in case i need you there when i call" "drowned in your love, it's almost too much. handle with care, say you'll be there" - she's saying she hopes that he's there to help her when she calls for him.
i don't know. that's what i think everytime this song comes on. plus the song sounds a bit of a hymn, hahaha.
