You speak to mee
And in your words I hear a melody
But in the twilight it's so hard to see
What's wrong for me

I can't resist
Until you give the truth a little twist
As if you're gonna get away with this
You're not sorry

I can't believe I fell for this

I fell through the hole
Down at the bottom of your soul
Didn't think you could go so low
Look at what you done
You're losing me
Is what you've won
Got me planning to go solo

You sing to me
Too bad you couldn't even stay on key
If your life is such a mystery
Why don't you just stick to acting
Oh

Here we go again
You couldn't find my number until when
You thought that you could get to my best friend
Without a script your game is lacking

I can't believe I fell for this

I fell through the hole
Down at the bottom of your soul
Didn't think you could go so low
Look at what you done
You're losing me
Is what you've won
Got me planning to go solo

I'd rather go to a party alone
Than have to walk around with you on my arm
Now that I'm better to admit that we're done
Good luck trying to find me

Down at the bottom of your soul
Didn't think you could go solo
Oh oh oh
Look at what you've done
You're losing me
Here's what you've won
Got me planning to go solo

Now we're done oh oh
Cause you got me planning to go solo

This is reminds me of a boy who I used to like and who used to act like he liked me back:

You speak to me and in your words I hear a melody But in the twilight it's so hard to see what's wrong for me I can't resist until you give the truth a little twist As if you're gonna get away with this, you're not sorry

This guy used to talk so sweetly to me and I couldn't see that he was wrong for me. Then he started acting like he liked another girl and he wasn't even sorry for making me feel like that.

    I can't believe I fell for this

I knew he was a player but I fell for him anyway.

I fell through the hole down at the bottom of your soul Didn't think you could go so low Look at what you've done, you're losing me, here's what you've won Got me planning to go solo, solo

I feel for his schemes and plans, I didn't think he could be that cruel. But now I don't even speak to him even though he's starting to show feeling for me again. So now I'm solo. But I'm ok.

You sing to me, too bad you couldn't even stay on key If real life is such a mystery why don't you just stick to acting? Oh, here we go again, you couldn't find my number until when You thought that you could get to my best friend Without a script your game is lacking

He tries to sing songs about girls that he likes but he's a horrible singer. His life is a mystery because you never know his true feelings about people. He just plays girls and moves on. Then he tried talking to me again when he wanted to hit on my best friends, but I wasn't gonna let him get to her because he's broken 2 of my best friends hearts.

But I'm ok.

I'd rather go out to a party alone Than have to walk around with you on my arm Now that I'm proud to admit that we're done Good luck, trying to find me

*I'd rather be alone, then be with him because he's known as a player. Now I'm proud to say that I don't like him, and if he ever tries to get to me alone I wish him luck."

If i may have some input

I believe it isn't about Taylor or Cody Twilight - time of day (but in the twilight its so hard to SEE, whats wrong for me)- unless u think being in the cinema or at home watchin it, as its a dark movie and hard to see the person sittin next to you unless u have the light on. however since she uses the word "IN" meanin a tense (present), i think that demi means the time of day all you guys are relating to her tweets. Have u ever thought to associate "orange" with nickelodan(obvs i cnt spell that word) or sunset, you don't have to take the literal term for it, meaning fruit or tan, it could also be sunset or sunrise (idk if that makes sense to anyone) she also said we may not no them, since she also made it seem like he was a rising star, everybody new taylor lautner was a heartthrob long before she wrote that tweet I feel its about a person who she may have been with, and the have gone "So LOW" and has made her want to be by herself rather than with someone who wants to stoop so low and make her feel uncomfortable or embrassed - "I'd rather go out to a party alone Than have to walk around with you on my arm Now that I'm proud to admit that we're done Good luck trying to find me"

I don't no if i am right in any of this but its how i feel

i did some research, i might be wrong but i think its about cody linley

like in gossip there was talk about him going out with selena gomez and he went out with demi lovato. "You thought that you could get to my best friend" or her other "best friend" miley cyrus , idk..

cody is also an actor, "Why don't you just stick to acting?" -or- "Without a script, your game is lacking"

i think this song means that her and a guy(taylor lautner) have become friends because her best friend (selena gomez) fell for him. but he broke her best friends heart so demi is saying that she cant believe she let him get to her best friend

    idk just my opinion

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
