Electric Messiah Lyrics
You liberate me, separate and set me free
You release my spirit to the wind
For evermore your name will soar inside of me
Let the reign of steel begin
Oh, how the prophets of the people were so blind
As one by one, all the kingdoms fall in line
Hail the Night - the Bringer of Light
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed - unmade and reborn
Set your soul on fire
All will believe, you won't deceive in any way
Endless empty minds at your command
I'll never fail, I'll drive the nail in all the way
Right into your heart with dying hands
Oh, how the prophets of the people were so blind
As one by one, all the kingdoms fall in line
Oh, so blind...
Hail the Night - the Bringer of Light
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed, unmade and reborn
Set your soul on fire
Hail the Night - the Bringer of Light
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed, unmade and reborn
Set your soul, your soul's on fire
Hail the Night
Ohh, Ohh! Hail the Bringer of Light
I am reborn, I am transformed
You release my spirit to the wind
For evermore your name will soar inside of me
Let the reign of steel begin
As one by one, all the kingdoms fall in line
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed - unmade and reborn
Set your soul on fire
Endless empty minds at your command
Right into your heart with dying hands
As one by one, all the kingdoms fall in line
Oh, so blind...
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed, unmade and reborn
Set your soul on fire
My Electric Messiah
Come and be transformed, unmade and reborn
Set your soul, your soul's on fire
Ohh, Ohh! Hail the Bringer of Light
I am reborn, I am transformed

This song seems to be talking about the robots' point of view (as the "concept" of this album is robots v human). The "electric messiah" is whoever the leader of the robots is, and/or whoever creates/programs them. The line "Endless empty minds at your command" makes sense in that the person is programming these robots, very much like the clones in the Star Wars series: ultimate soldiers who will kill without question, without morals, or without feeling any emotions about the dead. I personally love the chorus :D
I could be wrong about this, but I think the song is about our use and constant acceptance of modern technology and computer technology. Michael Romeo said Children of a faceless god refers to that of kids always stairing into their cellphones and texting away. I think this is a similar concept of how we all kind of use these things without question, and are sucked into it a bit. The bringer of light at night would obviously be electricity then causing light pollution in cities. How we are then losing a bit of our existance with nature.
