I took a ride by a police station
It seemed like something to do
I heard a voice saying, "What are you trying to prove?"
I thought about it an hour
I thought about it a minute
And I thought about it for weeks
So in the end, I couldn't decide

Next thing I knew I was out and bound and
On my own again
I looked around to see what I could find
I thought about it an hour
I thought about it a minute
And I thought about it for weeks
So in the end, I couldn't decide

There's a time when your life is full of meaning
That's the time that I'm looking forward to
I thought about it an hour
I thought about it a minute
And I thought about it for weeks
So in the end, I never decide.

The quintessential song about indecision. (Or is it?)

I thought the end of the refrain was " I thought about it for weeks on end." Either way....

I first heard the song on the Matter of Degrees soudtrack. I was fasctinated by the guitar solo - so sublimely simple. Makes you think that you should learn to play guitar. Turns out it is Georgia (the drummer) playing it.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
