Sex On The Radio Lyrics
She's got a smile so sweet
It's every little thing for my head down to her feet
Out of the magazine
And I see you on the TV
I love the song she sings
Cause when I turn around it's like she singing to me
And every word she means
Like it could be about me (it could be about me)
[Chorus:]
She sounds to me
She sounds like sex on the radio
I love to hear her scream
And when I push play she's screaming in stereo
Oh oh oh oh oh
She sounds like sex on the radio
Oh oh oh oh oh
She put sex on the radio (sex on the radio)
I knew that we would meet
At wanna those shows they do for the radio
And when she looked at me
All I said was hello (all I said was hello)
I took her out to eat
Cause we were in a city that neither one of us knew
We never went to sleep
Cause when the sun came up, we knew that we would have to go
[Chorus:]
She sounds to me
She sounds like sex on the radio
I love to hear her scream
And when I push play she's screaming in stereo
Oh oh oh oh oh
She sounds like sex on the radio
Oh oh oh oh oh
She put sex on the radio (sex on the radio) [x2]
I've got to admit, this feeling's legit
I don't wanna stop and she don't want me to quit
But she gives a little nervous with what we do,
Scare what they would say,
What they would talk about if they knew
Heard her sing a song I knew that she would write about it
Saw her in her magazine, I knew that she could keep it quiet
Keep it in the sheets, the radio the beats
Between you and me, we'll flow away back here
[Chorus:]
She sounds to me
She sounds like sex on the radio
I love to hear her scream
And when I push play she's screaming in stereo
Oh oh oh oh oh
She sounds like sex on the radio
Oh oh oh oh oh
She put sex on the radio (sex on the radio)
She sounds to me
She sounds like sex on the radio

Good Charlotte has always been a band that I have liked in part for their good/meningful lyrical content. Songs like this one and "like it's her b-day" show them going in a lyrical direction that I don't like one bit. Shallow songs like this are pointless to me, and have kept me from enjoying an album from one of my favorite bands.
The always say that the singles are for the radio, the songs in between are for the GCFAM. I tend to skip over those. I like this song, though.

The thing is that Good Charlotte has never done a song as shallow as this one, like it's her b-day, last night, ext before! This album is loaded with shallow crap from a band that has always had good meaningful lyrics in the past without resorting to using sex to sell their music.

I love this band! I love this song! Why can't a band have some fun with the music they write? I think this song has meaning anyway, that every GC fan can relate to. We all like to listen to the band and think they are singing to us personally which is really what this song is about.
I agree with Like it's her b-day being abit shallow but, they're just having fun with the music and lyrics.
Sounds a bit to much like Lost In Stereo by All Time Low....
song's totally about christina aguilera
