You really do always want more
Out on the road all I want is a home
Then David spoke about my future
You lucky bastard with the beautiful wife she's mine

Ooooooh,ooooooooh,ooooooh,

I was born for a few reasons
To love my neighbor more than he loves his life
Got to say that it was easy
That sad, old man committed suicide last night

I've got another reason I want to go home
This city's fucking cold
I want to go home
I'm feeling codependent
I miss my baby girl
I miss my baby girl
I miss my oh my God
Oh my God!!

Ooooooooh

I really do always want more
Out on the road all I want is a warm home
Then David spoke about my future me
Winner's don't quit,
Keep your eye on the finish life

I was born for a few reasons
I love my neighbor more than he loves his wife
Got to say that it was easy to me
That sad old man, well she killed him last night

I've got another reason I want to go home
This city's fucking cold
I want to go home
I'm feeling codependent
I miss my baby girl
I miss my baby girl
I miss my, oh my, God

I found the other reason I want to go home
This city's cold and old
and I want to go home
I'm feeling codependent
I miss my baby girl
I'm feeling codependant
I want to go home

I've got another reason I want to go home
This city's fucking cold
I want to go home
I'm feeling codependent
I miss my baby girl
I miss my baby girl
I miss my, my, my, my, my, my

Ba, da, badum, bada, ba, ba, ba, ba,
Ba, da, badum, bada, ba, ba, ba, ba
Ba, da, bum, bada, badadum, badaba
(repeat) (listen to the song you'll get it)

i think its actually "then David spoke about my future and me / winners don't quit, keep your eye on the finish line"

David being David Bazan, of Pedro the Lion who released an album titled Winners Never Quit which features, the title track Winners Never Quit and a song titled Eye on the Finish Line.

    could be completely wrong though
