The Lie You Bleed For Lyrics

This is the war you called
And I'm the one who came to judge you.
Too soon your gods will leave, this is the day of your defeat.
Welcome the newborn slaves, forgotten and betrayed.

Just burn it down.
Black skies will rise and overshadow your demise.
Long for the peace of surrender.
Just stare into the void.
Welcome the newborn slaves, disfranchised and betrayed.
Just feed your new found hate, a force nothing will break.
Just burn it, just burn it down.

It's in the air you breathe, an everlasting poison,
An order of deceit, it is a lie you bleed for.
It's in the words you speak, faint echoes of deception.
When will you ever see no one will set you free.

Welcome the newborn slaves, forgotten and betrayed.
Long for the peace of surrender.
Just stare into the void.
It's in the air you breathe, an everlasting poison,
An order of deceit, it is a lie you bleed for.
It's in the words you speak, faint echoes of deception.
When will you ever see no one will set you free.

Und damit du es verstehst,
Du folgst den falschen Fuehrern.
Der Kampf ist nie vorbei,
Du bist nicht frei.

It's in the air you breathe, an everlasting poison,
An order of deceit, it is a lie you bleed for.
It's in the words you speak, faint echoes of deception.
When will you ever see no one will set you free.

Cover art for The Lie You Bleed For lyrics by Heaven Shall Burn

From the bio on their site:

"The lyrics are our statement against the daily robot-ism, against being exploited at your job. We have several friends who suffered from their first burn out in their mid-twenties or early thirties. It is fair to strive for something bigger and better. However, it should not be in the name of the DAX, but only for your own self. It has to be okay to keep a minimum of freedom — even if it is in certain limits — otherwise your working clothes turn into prison clothing. Hence, the song exhibits a tiny bit of Spartakus’ spirit."
