Buried In Forgotten Grounds Lyrics
I know that they will bleed in hell
But where is justice in this unjust world ?
Where is the truth we died for ?
You feed the lie they fight for
Where is the truth we died for ?
Silence and screams are the end of our song
There is no threat to scare us
Our tunes and words remain
As songs of rage will carry our names
Although your hangmen may be dead by now
There is no share of this blame
No cheap excuses we accept
Make no mistake, nake no mistake about it
Our songs and words remain
As storms of rage will carry our names
We'll make you bleed for this
There is no share of this blame
Our wives and mothers
so many years, so many years they hoped in vain
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You saw no anguish in our eyes
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
Remember our names!
Silence and screams are the end of our song
There is no threat to scare us
Our songs and words remain
As storms of rage will carry our names
We'll make you bleed for this
There is no share of this blame
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You saw no anguish in our eyes
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You shall remember our names
We may be buried in forgotten grounds
But the heartbeats of our loved ones
Will be the drums to break your sleep
I know that they will bleed in hell
But where is justice in this unjust world ?
Where is the truth we died for ?
You feed the lie they fight for
Where is the truth we died for, we died for ?
But where is justice in this unjust world ?
Where is the truth we died for ?
You feed the lie they fight for
Where is the truth we died for ?
There is no threat to scare us
Our tunes and words remain
As songs of rage will carry our names
There is no share of this blame
No cheap excuses we accept
Make no mistake, nake no mistake about it
As storms of rage will carry our names
We'll make you bleed for this
There is no share of this blame
so many years, so many years they hoped in vain
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You saw no anguish in our eyes
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
Remember our names!
There is no threat to scare us
Our songs and words remain
As storms of rage will carry our names
There is no share of this blame
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You saw no anguish in our eyes
Nothing will be buried in oblivion
You shall remember our names
But the heartbeats of our loved ones
Will be the drums to break your sleep
But where is justice in this unjust world ?
Where is the truth we died for ?
You feed the lie they fight for
Where is the truth we died for, we died for ?

about 1973 Chilean coup d'état (here victims f.e. Victor Jara), Pinochet's regime, influence of USA and CIA in this area of Southern America
I think it's about all the South American's Dictatorships in 70's not only Pinochet's one. And it's dedicated to "Desaparecidos" (People rapted, tortured and killed by the military government for not agree with them or be dangerous for their government)
