i think cove is talking about his record label. i think the movement in his stomache, is a sickness that saosin feels with the way the record label wants them to make music. maybe they feel disgusted that they let themselve give in to their record label's demands and created music that wasn't up to they're standards. maybe they feel like they sold themselves short by doing that. and now it's they're last time to make a hit and make it stick, as in a hit single. and its eating away at the band. the record label, capitol/virgin wants to steal their pride, and dignity, and they aren't going to take it anymore. they're not going to let them take control of their music anymore. in the second part, wake me up when it's said and done, wake me up when this is all over, when they're contract is over with the record label, they don't wanna be any part of that label anymore. "have you thought about what we have bene through could be directed to capitol/virigin, or it could be to the fans, pressuring the band. they say move faster, as in hurry up with your new albumdd
and then saosin is telling them, you can't rush if you wanna make good music. don't complicate and make the recording process more difficult.
Great song. Was this song on an album because its pretty good. The chorus almost seems to say that they dont want to move slow which would go against what duffman said which made seems. Maybe he means he doesnt want to move, but he wants to go slow. And the guitar solo is great, but a lot different than the usual saosin.
