Children yelling in Italian

John, Christine is still with us

Christine is dead, Laura

Of course, of course, I know but, you know the two ladies in the restaurant? Well, they were watching us while we were eating. They kept staring at us, they told me this because they could see sitting between us they could see Christine sitting between us

This is two people who we don't even know

Listen, listen now. There's one who's blind, she's the one that can see, she's the one who had the second sight, and she, she's blind and she described to me Christine's red plastic mac

Laura

John

Laura

Listen, I'm perfectly all right. In fact I haven't felt as good as this in months and months, I feel really fine. I don't need pills, I'm not going crazy, I feel really great

When did the doctor say you can leave?

Any time, I only fainted

John, Christine is still with us

Christine is dead, Laura

Of course, of course, I know but, you know the two ladies in the restaurant? Well, they were watching us while we were eating. They kept staring at us, they told me this because they could see sitting between us they could see Christine sitting between us

This is two people who we don't even know

Listen, listen now. There's one who's blind, she's the one that can see

General CommentThe sample in the song is an audio clip from the film 'Don't Look Now'

There's a couple, called Laura and John, who lost their daughter, Christine, when she drowned in an accident at her home.

The couple move to Italy where Laura meets two old women (they're sisters). One of the sisters is blind and claims to be able to make contact with Christine.

John refuses to believe this and believes Laura is beginning to lose her sanity.

The 'red mac' is what Christine was wearing when she drowned (it's a raincoat; not a computer -___-)

General CommentI am listening to this for the first time and I just watched 'Don't Look Now' last week. It blew my mind that I knew what movie the audio clip is from. I had to come here to express my love for the song.

General CommentI think that the middle part with the water bubbling sound is when the character Christine is killed by drowning. Laura (most likely her mother) talks about how this person can see Christine's ghost and describes the red plastic mac which was the old type of apple notebook when this album came out.
