Very simple. Its about how J was dating a girl who eventually cheated on him. The chorus is a flashback of their intimacy. The song first showcases them as being inseparable, being very compatible - like the Apple & Mac reference. The second verse is them still loving each other but becoming bored of one another. In the third, they are complete opposites. Done.

i thought it was pretty obvious what this was about... my interpretation was that J was in a relationship with some girl and they didn't really have anything in common and the relationship was really only physical (hence the chorus). for example:
this highlights the differences between them and that in reality they are polar opposites.
verse two speaks of their similarities
showing that what they did have in common was just lies in the end...
