Sing Along

this and the other songs of mum's new album are much different that other albums, that's for sure. however this song, with which the album shares its name, is catchy and interesting. at first i didn't like it, because i was expecting a different sound from my mum. but for some reason its irresistible, i cannot and will not stop listening to it.

I love this song, it's such a beautiful song, and I can't stop listening to it. But, does anybody know what "sing along" means? and "you'll never know what could have been, if you don't sing along"? Thanks.

Like the guy above I was expecting something completely different, but this was pleasantly surprising. The lyrics in particular are darling.

I adore this song. So pleasant, lovely and rather addictive.

For me i think it means some sort of Emotional Slavery, like a Parents to Son, or a lover.

I think this song is about fan of music that sing even to songs that they do not know as long as there favorite artist sings and even may want the artist to live with them.

I think it's about conformity to one's wishes. Maybe in a parent-child relationship, maybe in a lover-lover relationship... maybe even friend-friend. The dominant partner in whichever relationship wishes for the submissive partner to submit to them and what they want out of that person, but maybe doesn't make it apparent, like in most relationships. It's hard to tell what others want without being told, so the dominant partner is making the submissive partner "sing along to songs they don't know." Which is difficult because they don't know what's expected. But despite that confusion, the dominant partner wants to keep the other as their own; "lock them in their house," "keep them as their guest," "feed them with their spoon." They want the partner to become their perfect little person. That's what I think anyway! :D

I think that if you watch the video of this song, you'll get its message or the meaning (in this case). It is lovely :D

To me this song has a very deep meaning that reflects on society and us as humans.

I find these things we love, be they people or animals, etc and we love them so much we want to keep them with us. We want them to live in our house, we want to immerse them in our lives and the things we do and say etc. By doing this we end up killing the thing we love about them, their originality. We make them just like us and then eventually have to move on to the next "pet".

The music adds a jaunty spin on an otherwise dark meaning and I absolutely love it!!!
