Diamonds for charcol,
rainbows for water,
oh we're not we seem to be,
look at the shadows,
they like to follow,
even when there's no light.
can you imagine,
a tree made out of stone,
a hand made out of glass.
I'll take advice to grow stronger,
the ice has all melted away,
friend are like gold when you need them.

don't ask me to run,
i'll paint my love with white and cast my heart aside
and it's so hard
and I, I'll cast my heart aside
but it's hard
so-so hard

(melodic humming)

I, I'll paint my love with white and cast my heart aside,
and it's so hard.
And I, I'll paint my love with white,
but it's hard.
so hard.
And I, I'll cast my heart aside,
but it's hard, so hard.

And I could make it so much easier on you
But it's hard.
(I could make it so much easier on you) X 4
so hard.
(I Could make it so much easier on you)

And I could make it so much easier on you,
(Keep my ear to the ground)((But it's hard))
I could make it so much easier for you, X 2
(and I hear a good sound)((so hard))

Keep my ear to the ground,
((keep my ear to the ground)) X 2
And I hear a good sound,
((and I hear a good sound))

But another ticket to the will,
When another man mean't to find it,
for every million, there's one,
when it's the vision uh-uh,
diamonds on fire.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
