Oh, Dotti fails to see, that the nets have been flung,
And Dotti opposes all creation, though the constable is waiting in his car.
Oh, the husband shifts his shambles and reels against the generations that made them what they are.
And Richard is lame, he drags, he stumbles, he orates to the ingrates as the earth creaks and rumbles.

Oh, Richard, your son has dipped into the ground.

Oh, and the orioles have chirped, "You shall creak, you shall grumble, and cascade into the darkness where your pale cracks and crumbles. Dictionaries gonna define your crime."

Oh, Richard, you're lost 'cause you could never populate from the depths of the hose that you scorn. Oh, Dotti is calm, it's a shame that we should fight. The orphans try to break the constable's face and...

And Richard is lame, he drags, he stumbles, he orates to the ingrates as the earth creaks and rumbles.

Your sons have dipped into the ground.

Oh, and the orioles have chirped, " You shall creak, you shall grumble, and cascade into the darkness where your pale creaks and crumbles. Dictionaries gonna, gonna, gonna define your crime."

Oh, Dotti fails to see, that the ne-ne-ne-nets have been flung. And Dotti opposes all creation, though the constable is waiting in his car. And the husband shifts his shambles and rails against the generation that m-m-made them what they are. ...

Get away! Oh, dear, get away! Get away! I don't think, think, think, they're gonna, gonna get away.

Dotti's being taken away in their car, (la-la-la)
Dotti's being taken away in their car, (la-la-la)
Dotti's being taken away in their car, (la-la-la)

...

Richard, you're lost and bleeding! ... And punches through...
Richard, you're lost and bleeding! ... Black falcons, bringing its claws out in hell...

Richard, you're lost and bleeding!
Richard, you're lost and bleeding!

There's a lot here I haven't been able to cover (you have to love mumbling and overdubbing) But my impression of the story is one that goes through a lot of Frog Eyes songs: a sort of romanticism of those who fight against the powers that be. Dotti is fighting an unwinnable fight against all creation, all authority, and in the end is taken away by the police.

Richard seems an almost existential figure. He's gone through life absorbing all the blows and now he's lost and is struggling through life without meaning.

    Lyric Correction

half of these lyrics are so wrong, here are the correct lyrics, as printed in the official release:

Dotty fails to see that the nets have been flung and Dotty opposes all creation: though the constable is waiting in his car though her husband shifts and shambles and rails against the generations that have made them what they are

And Richard is lame he drags and stumbles He orates to the ingrates as the earth creaks and rumbles Oh Richard your sun has dipped into the ground!

When the Orioles have chirped you shall creak you shall crumble and cascade into the darkness where your pail cracks and crumbles Dictionaries are going to define your climb

Oh Richard you are lost because you could never properly plumb the depths of those that you scorn Oh Dotty is gone, it's a shame that we stood by: The orphans tried to break the constable's brace-- I know it.

Oh Richard is lame he drags and stumbles He orates to the ingrates as the earth creaks and it rumbles Oh your sun has dipped into the ground

Oh when the Orioles have chirped you shall creak you shall grumble and you shall cascade into the darkness where your pail creaks and crumbles, dictionaries are going to define your climb...

Dotty fails to see that the nets have been flung and Dotty opposes all creation: though the constable is waiting in his car though her husband shifts and shambles and rails against the generations that have made them what they are Oh Idiot masterful Idiot Conjugated weasel stealing clear diesel behind the bar

I hope they get away! But I don't think they are goin' to get away! Dotty's being taken away in the car! Dotty's being taken away in the car!

Gonna cut the brakes in the car!

Oh Richard you're lost like Perdita was! Perdita crashes the party, and punches through the wall, crying that there is a black falcon wringing its claws out in HELL!

Fun facts: Perdita originally means "lost" ("lost like Perdita was"). Richard is german for "brave power". Dorothy (Dotty) apparently means "gift of God" ("Dotty opposes all creation"). Might just be coincidences, who knows.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
