Sometimes I wonder if everything changed
How could we make out?
And now suddenly thunder and everything's changed
There's this big dark cloud
Hovering

Hovering, hovering, hovering
You always said that we'd make it through
Troubling, stumbling, fumbling
For the words to say that I'm leaving you
I'm leaving you

We go through the motions like everything's settled
But it's inside out
And it makes us uncomfortable still holding on
When there's all this doubt
Hovering

Hovering, hovering, hovering
You always said that we'd make it through
Troubling, stumbling, fumbling
For the words to say that I'm leaving you
I'm leaving you

And maybe we're just older (older)
Just a little older (older)
And 'cause the fact that this is over
The fact that this is over with you's been

Hovering, stumbling, fumbling
You always said that we'd make it through
Troubling, stumbling, fumbling
For the words to say that I'm leaving you
Leaving you

Troubling, stumbling, fumbling
For the word to say that I'm leaving you
You always said we'd make it through
You always said we'd make it through

No comments? I actually like the song, so here's my take on it, So I think its about Nick Jonas, and here is why:

"Sometimes I wonder if everything changed How would we make out And now suddenly thunder and everything’s changed There’s this big dark cloud Hovering, hovering, hovering, hovering" -This could deal with her wondering how things could have been and the 'Hovering' part could be the media always around and always talking about them and their relationship.

"Troubling, stumbling, fumbling for the words to say that I’m leaving you" -Apparently she was the one to leave Nick, near 2007 near years.

These are just guess's to what I have read in interviews and the medias take on everything.

Yeah, this is about how she left Nick. She kept hesitating, because she loved him, but she realized it was the best thing. She wasn't sure how to go about it, I know; one day she just told him she couldn't do it anymore. I love this song.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
