I don't know what others will say, but I get a voyeuristic vibe from this song.

i don't think that this song is solely centered on the idea of being a voyeur... i'm not sure if i can put this into words correctly, but i think it's about loving someone so desperately that even with distance between you, or the inability to do so -- maybe you aren't even in a real relationship with them anymore, or never were -- you still want to watch over them and cherish all the things they do. i don't know. D: it's not so much being a stalker... even with the sort of impersonal electronic score, there is something very tender about the lyrics that i can't quite pinpoint.

I don't think it's actually a stalker song. More like... an obssesion with someone. For me in the song theother person doesn't notice her:

"Silently I arrive You don't know I'm alive"

But she is still in something like love with that person. The feeling that you feel when you like someone... or even love? Wanting to know EVERYTHING, especially the most intimate moments. The other not noticing you, to see his real nature:

"When you think you're alone I'll be down the hall I could see it, if I was a fly on the wall What you do in your room I could see it all You undress, I wish I was a fly on the wall, yeah Wish I was a fly on the wall, yeah"

Maybe some of you experienced something like this while being obssesed with celebs, ahaha ;] But when it's someone real to you, it's different. Because one look it isn't enough - you want to know it all!

I think this song's about someone who really likes someone else [perhaps someone they barely know] and who they are deeply obsessed with and they want to learn more about them. I think the person that they like probably isn't aware of their existance let alone the fact that they're in love with them and that this person wishes to see more into this persons life. AKA "wish i was a fly on the wall" is just metaphorically speaking for how she wishes to know more about them and their life.

This song describes exactly how I was feeling around a year ago :)

T.a.t.u has become a lot more focused on social issues lately. Some of their songs kind of speak out about said social issues. In many places, and especially in the USA, people have become almost obsessed with being privy to all the intimate details of the lives of celebrities. Where I live we have 2 television shows back to back that report on all the latest celebrity gossip. Between that and the surge of reality television, its as if people have reached the point where they desire to be a fly on the wall in these people's lives. We have gone from couch potatoes to couch stalkers, spying on people most of us have never and will never meet. And for what? Some sick sense of satisfaction if the celebrity does something so stupid that it makes you feel better about yourself and the stuff you do?

I think this song is a commentary about our culture of full access celebrity gossip and armchair stalking. The desire to be a fly on the wall and know everything about these people.

I think its a bit of a stalker song and a bit of an obsession all mixed in together... I still think that Tatu is a good band... (PS. this is how we write Tatu in Russia) =)

i think the song by itself dose sound like an obsetion of sorts,
but if youve seen the video for it, well the meaning changes a little i think... i got completely confused because it didnt make sence to me if anyone knows what the video is about could you please tell me ps. sorry if i make spelling errors im dyslexic
