i don't think that this song is solely centered on the idea of being a voyeur... i'm not sure if i can put this into words correctly, but i think it's about loving someone so desperately that even with distance between you, or the inability to do so -- maybe you aren't even in a real relationship with them anymore, or never were -- you still want to watch over them and cherish all the things they do. i don't know. D: it's not so much being a stalker... even with the sort of impersonal electronic score, there is something very tender about the lyrics that i can't quite pinpoint.
