This song is about him having to see his ex's face everywhere. Since they were on tour together, many fans have a picture with the both of them and they ask him to sign it. Her face is constantly shoved at him and this is about him having that day where you can't face the world. He's amazing :)

I lost a friend a few years ago in an accident. I was with her and saw it. And so, it's one of those things I'll never forget. I think about it a lot. Some days are worse than others. So this really just makes me think about the days that I just want to crawl in my bed and hide away from the world. And like it talks about people saying time helps.. That's something time can't always do a whole lot for. You just learn to live with it. So, it's a perfect song to describe how I feel about that.
A malcontent track to start with. Bold, but after "Sundrenched World" I shouldn't be surprised.
The first verse seems to exert a lack of faith, and acceptance thereafter. Reminds me of "God says Nothing Back" by The Wallflowers (but I don't know why).
The "I can't stop seeing your face" line is what really get to me. Even if you you hide underneath your blanklets, when you close your eyes all you see is the face of the girl you love. Don't let moments of misery string together, because it's easy after a break-up.

this is a song that everyone can relate too at somepoint. The lyrics are honest and simple they get you right in ur soft spot describin how we can feel. i reckon this with a slower sadder acoustic guitar would sound awesome
