The first verse seems to exert a lack of faith, and acceptance thereafter. Reminds me of "God says Nothing Back" by The Wallflowers (but I don't know why).
The "I can't stop seeing your face" line is what really get to me. Even if you you hide underneath your blanklets, when you close your eyes all you see is the face of the girl you love. Don't let moments of misery string together, because it's easy after a break-up.
