Wie oft willst Du noch sterben,
woran klammerst Du Dich fest?
Ist es die Angst vor Deiner Wahrheit,
die Dich einsam bleiben lässt?

Wie tief willst Du noch fallen?
Wie lange kannst Du Dich noch wehren?
Siehst Du Dich – Siehst Du nicht,
dass Du längst vergangen bist?

Hasst Du Dein Leben so sehr?
Hab keine Angst und komm her!

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Mach's Dir nicht so schwer.
Komm her!
Erst wenn Du verlierst,
die Angst nicht mehr spürst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Bitte, bitte mach's Dir nicht so schwer!
Komm her! Erst wenn Du zerbrichst,
die Welt Dich vermisst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.

Wie lang willst Du noch warten?
Woran hältst Du Dich noch fest?
Glaubst Du die Zeit heilt Deine Wunden,
wenn Du sie nicht heilen lässt?

Wie tief willst Du noch fallen?
Wie lange kannst Du widerstehen?
Siehst Du Dich – Siehst Du nicht,
dass Du längst vergangen bist?

Hasst Du Dein Leben so sehr?
Hab keine Angst und komm her!

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Mach's Dir nicht so schwer.
Komm her!
Erst wenn Du verlierst,
die Angst nicht mehr spürst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Bitte, bitte mach's Dir nicht so schwer!
Komm her!
Erst wenn Du zerbrichst,
die Welt Dich vermisst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.

All Deine Tränen, Dein Hass
und Dein Sehnen.
All das wofür man kämpfen kann,
es ändert nichts mehr daran.

All Deine Sehnsucht,
Dein Schmerz und Dein Leid.
Du hast gelebt, bist im Nichts aufgewacht.
Du hast Dich allein auf die Suche gemacht.

Umsonst!

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Mach's Dir nicht so schwer.
Komm her!
Erst wenn Du verlierst,
die Angst nicht mehr spürst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.

Zu sterben fällt so leicht.
Bitte, bitte mach's Dir nicht so schwer!
Komm her!
Erst wenn Du zerbrichst,
die Welt Dich vermisst,
weißt Du wofür Du lebst.
Weißt Du wofür Du lebst!

    Translation:

How many more times do you want to die, what are you clinging to? Is it the fear of your truth, that keeps you lonely?

How much farther do you want to fall? How much longer can you defend yourself? Do you see yourself — Don't you see, that departed long ago?

Do you hate your life so much? Have no fear and come here!

It's so easy to die. Don't make it so difficult for yourself. Come here! Only once you lose, once you no longer feel fear, will you know what you live for.

It's so easy to die. Please, please, don't make it so difficult for yourself! Come here! Only once you break, once the world missed you, will you know what you live for.

How much longer do you want to wait? What are you holding on to? Do you think time will heal you wounds if you don't let them heal?

How much farther do you want to fall? How long can you resist? Do you see yourself — Don't you see, that departed long ago?

Do you hate your life so much? Have no fear and come here!

It's so easy to die. Don't make it so difficult for yourself. Come here! Only once you lose, once you no longer feel fear, will you know what you live for.

It's so easy to die. Please, please, don't make it so difficult for yourself! Come here! Only once you break, once the world missed you, will you know what you live for.

All your tears, your hate and your yearning. Everything that one can fight for, it won't change a thing anymore.

All your longing your pain and your suffering. You lived, you woke up in nothingness. You alone started searching.

    For nothing!

Will you know what you live for!

At first look this song seems depressing and suicidal, and i think that many people will think like that, but on closer look at lyrics its tottaly opposite. This part of the song reveals true meaning of whole song:

'Only once you lose once you no longer feel fear will you know what you live for'

This song is actually very optimistic... message is that we shouldnt be afraind of anything in life... especially of death, ultimate fear for many people. Death is normal like life it self...nothing to be afraid of. And once we realise that, and once we stop looking at death like something unwelcome we will be finally and 100% free souls....free in our mind...free of all apprehensions.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
