Yeah, everyone was beamin'
Everyone
Everywhere
And Scotty did lots of the work
And I said, "Beam me up, Scotty,
and can I get a cup of coffee? And the internet,
it still doesn't work."
I said, "Whoa oh oh oh. You know we're beamin'." [x 3]

To me, it seems this song talks about how people are never content, even in contentment.
"Beamin' " seems to be the state of having things go right... and Scottie is representing God.
God gives us enough to make us happy, and we don't even realize it (having to ask, after it being stated that they were already "beamin' "), and even when we are at peace, we want more (coffee, internet)...
dude this a star trek song there is NO meaning in the song its just about star trek

good guess but actuallt the song doesn't have as deep meaning as that. beam me up Scotty is refering to the catch phrase from star trek.

I think that chadek is completely right. I know it is a reference to Star Trek (which I definitely appreciated), but why can't it have a deeper meaning as well? I think it can be both; however, think of the song in whatever way you like it best. You should always enjoy the music. :)

That description sounds darn awesome to me. But I would say that a better description of "Beamin'" is satisfaction. But is that what Scottie/God wants? Should we be beaming? (Impressive job Chadek!)
Relient K's (road?) manager is named Scott.
I'm pretty sure this is just a clever song about Scott with a reference to Star Trek. He brings them coffee, and is probably in charge of the internet, and the fact that "everyone [is] beaming" at the shows is thanks to Scott's hard work. I've actually met Scott before, he's a really nice guy. =]
Wow, you guys really put this song into perspective for me. See I thought it was just another one of their silly songs, but your guys's descriptions make total sense.
OORRRRRR...it could be about Star Trek??????? Sccotty is the character that does the "beaming" which is when they send people down to planets from the space ship. the famous line from that show is "Beamming Scotty!"
